We took a long drive this day. We had to drive through Edinburgh to cross a river. There is much to see in Edinburgh, but our car is too big to maneuver and driving in big cities gives us both the willies. We went as far north as Inverness. We noticed the heather on the hillsides. It is dark brown in the winter. We encountered a snow storm – drove though it in about 15 minutes.
