London to Cambridge

We set NUVI (We took our GPS with us) to avoid main highways because we were counseled that the back roads were prettier.  We should have waited until we were out of London to do that.  NUVI navigated us toward Cambridge right through downtown London.  Wayne took to driving on the wrong side of the road quickly, but the roundabouts nearly killed us.  They were at every intersection and you need to know which exit you are going to take so that you can begin in the correct lane.  You also have to use your blinkers constantly to let people know where you want to go.  We made a lot of mistakes and got honked at a lot until we figured it about (about 2 days later).  We realized our mistake with NUVI and reprogrammed it but it took us 4 hours to cover 85 miles.  We were able to see some of Cambridge while we were looking for a room.  We found a nice B&B, the A & B Guesthouse  and had dinner in a pub, The Prince Regent  We had the Sunday special, a roast beef dinner with Yorkshire pudding.   We sat next to two post-doctorate women from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
