We got back on a bus and went by Piccadilly Circus.  I always thought Piccadilly Circus was a place in London where street performers wandered around with juggling balls and bicycles and “circus” stuff.  It is not.  Circus comes from the Latin word meaning roundabout.  England has plenty of them and every intersection is a circus.  Piccadilly Circus is famous because it is the center of the shopping district.
