We took a free boat trip up the Thames from the Tower of London to the London Eye.  We didn’t stop to see the Tower of London but determined to go back.   We drove by Big Ben and Parliament and we got off to see Westminster Abbey.  When we went to the bus stop, the bus wasn’t there.  We stood in the cold for about 30 minutes waiting for the last bus to pick us up.  We were really cold.  It was below freezing.  We were thankful that there was only a light breeze.  We had dinner at the pub down the street from Barry House, Victoria Pub.  It was my first experience with fish and chips. It was fabulous.  We also had to learn how to eat in a pub.  Wayne had to go downstairs to the bartender to order our meal and tell him which table we were sitting at.  Then the food was brought to us.
