We got off at St. Paul’s Cathedral. It is a beautiful example of Gothic architecture. The stained glass was beautiful. We loved the vaulted ceilings and the carvings. We had an audio set that helped us understand the history and the beliefs of the Anglican Church. The Vicar conducted a short Eucharist and so we avoided the center of the nave. We had lunch in the basement of the church where they ran a really nice café. Wayne had cottage pie (shepherd’s pie) and it was delicious. I can’t remember what I ate. We shared our table with a delightful couple from Kent. They had come to London on a bus with others from Kent. They had tea. We enjoyed talking to them and they seemed to enjoy us.
