Big Bus - Day 2
January 21: We are still having trouble sleeping but are going about our touring anyway. It is very cold. I decided to wear two pairs of pants and my wool socks. It helped quite a bit. We are enjoying the architecture. So many of the buildings are very old. There are no skyscrapers. The people are very friendly. Wayne has been able to access our email on his palm pilot. We can read, but sending is difficult since there is no keyboard. We would have to hit letters with a stylus. So far nothing is so important that we can’t wait until we get home except we did get a message from Salt Lake asking us to fill out another questionnaire. We found an internet café on the same street as Barry House. It was lengthy and both of us had to fill one out independently. It was measuring our comfort zone: weather, poor people, language, living conditions and things like that. We are excited about our mission call. We got on the Big Bus and went directly to the Tower of London.
